Year 10 students excel at leading the Change4life Sports Festival
Richmond School hosted a fun sports festival aiming to engage those pupils who currently do not take part in sports. The event was attended by 10 Primary schools from around the area and was led by 27 of our Year 10 Student Leaders. The Year 10 students independently led a variety of games including golf activities, parachute games, dodgeball and obstacle relays, to name a few.
They gained a wealth of experience and many compliments on their approach to the event and the manner in which they spoke to the younger primary pupils. The primary pupils were rewarded for demonstrating key values such as determination, passion and teamwork with a stamp on their score card and a sticker for themselves.
The winning team was then calculated by the amount of stamps that they collected on their scorecard. Congratulations to Trinity Academy Richmond and Michael Syddall Primary schools on coming first and second respectively.
