Richmond School Trust

Do you need financial help so you can attend a school trip, take up DofE, go further with your sport or the arts, start an apprenticeship or go to University or FE college?

The Richmond School Trust is here to provide financial support to you up to the age of 25.

How to Apply

Priority is given to those families who have financial needs, but the Trust realises that there may be other barriers that stop you progressing with these activities without that bit of extra funding.

The Trust meets every term, and the completed forms need to be emailed or handed into the finance office by the Wednesday before each half-term holiday.

Return your completed form to the School Finance Office finance-rch@arete.uk

If you have any queries, or need help with the forms, please contact the School Finance Office finance-rch@arete.uk or Richmond School Trust richmondschooltrust@btinternet.com

* Brackenbury Award, This award is a one-off payment of up to £1,500. And is open to students about to leave Richmond School and Sixth Form College or those, under 25, who have already left but were students at the school for at least one year.

Further Information

The Richmond School Trust was established in 1972 as an independent charity to support students and ex-students, up to the age of 25.

The Trust does work closely with the school to ensure support is given to the students most in need of financial help due the barriers that they face. This funding can be to support their educational or extra-curricular activities.

The Trust also supports some of the school’s departments with funding for resources that cannot come out of school funds.
