16-19 Financial Support

The 16-19 Bursary Fund provides support to help students complete their course where they would otherwise be prohibited from doing so on financial grounds.

Vulnerable Learners could get a bursary of up to £1,200 a year, and students from households on incomes of less than £28,000, can still receive a Discretionary Bursary to help pay for education-related costs, based on their actual financial need.

An application form and guidance notes detailing the current eligibility criteria and the 16-19 Bursary application process are available to download at the bottom of this page.

Initial applications should be returned to the Finance Office by mid-September.
The school will then confirm in writing whether you meet the criteria required to be awarded payments from this fund. However, it is recognised that financial circumstances change, and therefore there is no absolute cut-off date for applications.

Should you have any further queries please contact the school finance office on 01748 850111 or finance@richmondschool.net.
