REAL-WORLD CAREERS INSIGHTS FOR YEAR 11
We were delighted to welcome Aaron Pepe, Contracts Manager at local business Swale Scaffolding Ltd, into Richmond School recently to speak to some of our Year 11 students about scaffolding apprenticeships.
Aaron gave students an in-depth insight into:
- How apprenticeships work
- The application process for scaffolding apprenticeships with Swale Scaffolding
- What a typical day on-site involves, and the training process
- The key differences between school life and working life
He also shared valuable advice on how developing good habits now – like punctuality, responsibility, and teamwork – can make the transition into employment smoother and more successful.
