HARVEY TO COMPETE AT ENGLISH SCHOOLS ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Earlier this week we published an article with a round-up of some recent athletics events.
We mentioned that Harvey Wilkinson, Year 12 student at Richmond Sixth Form College, had qualified for the prestigious English Schools Championships later in July.
Sally, Harvey’s mum, was kind enough to send us a bit more information about Harvey’s success:
“This year Harvey won the shot and discus in the senior category at the North Yorkshire Schools Championships in York, qualifying him for the English Schools Championship in Birmingham. This is the second year he has qualified, though last year he had to withdraw due to injury, so he is hoping for a better result this year.
He trains with and competes for City of York Athletic Club, training twice a week at their stadium in York.
He has already competed in the indoor National Championships this year as well as in the National Senior League.”
