EXPLORING FUTURES: YEAR 13 STUDENTS VISIT UK UNIVERSITY & APPRENTICESHIPS SEARCH EVENT AT ELLAND ROAD
Year 13 students recently attended the UK University and Apprenticeships Search event at Elland Road, Leeds. The visit provided an exciting opportunity for students to explore the wide range of pathways available to them after college, including university courses, apprenticeship programmes, and direct employment options.
Throughout the day, students engaged with representatives from universities, employers, and training providers, gaining valuable insights into their next steps. A series of informative seminars were also held, covering key topics such as Student Finance, crafting impactful Personal Statements, and understanding Higher and Degree Apprenticeships.
Ruth Hamer, Careers Adviser commented: “This was the first time we have visited this event and it was a great success. We hope our students returned inspired and better informed about the choices ahead, equipped with resources and advice to help shape their future plans.”
