EXPLORING CAREERS IN EARLY YEARS EDUCATION WITH NORLAND COLLEGE
We were thrilled to welcome Kate Morgan from the prestigious Norland College to Richmond School recently. Kate spoke with our GCSE and A Level Health & Social Care students, offering an engaging and insightful presentation about careers in early years education and the unique role of a Norland Nanny.
Kate’s talk provided a valuable glimpse into the world-class training offered by Norland, including their renowned Degree and Diploma options, and exceptional graduate employment prospects. Students learned about the high standards, specialist skills, and professional opportunities that make Norland graduates so sought after in the childcare sector.
Ruth Hamer, Careers Adviser commented: “At Richmond School and Sixth Form College, we are proud to offer our students opportunities to explore a wide range of career pathways and we endeavour to organise a diverse and interesting programme of events and talks. We hope this session sparked curiosity and ambition in those considering a future in childcare and early years education.”
