YEAR 6 STUDENTS, FRIENDS AND FAMILY ENJOY A TASTE OF RICHMOND SCHOOL AT OPEN EVENING

Richmond School recently opened its doors to welcome Year 6 students plus their friends and family for a taste of life as a Richmond School student. It was a busy and vibrant evening, with departments showcasing the work they do with the help of over 150 current students.

Miss Abbey, Assistant Headteacher responsible for Transition, said: “We welcomed over 400 families through our doors during the event — including visitors from as far away as York — a clear reflection of the strength and reach of our school’s reputation.

The feedback so far has been overwhelmingly positive. Highlights mentioned include the outstanding performance from our Jazz Band in the Main Hall, the warm and friendly welcome from staff and student volunteers, the buzz and creativity across all subject areas, and of course, our incredible student leaders, who spoke with such passion and pride about life at Richmond School. Thank you to Ellie Hughes and Joe White, Year 13, and Eleni Barron and Oliver West, Year 7.

Thank you once again for all the hard work, enthusiasm and commitment from our students and staff in making the evening such a success, and especially thanks to all our visitors!”
