Eleanor and Lucy were nominated by Mrs Fox who said: “On Tuesday 20th May, Eleanor and Lucy delivered a dance workshop to a group of children at Middleton Tyas Primary School as part of their Sports Week activities. The girls planned and organised this totally independently, contacting the headteacher and event organiser directly to offer their expertise in dance. They gave up their time to use the studio after school to choreograph movement and plan their session – all of which was done independently and with no input from teachers. One the day of the event, Mrs McLean, Headteacher of Middleton Tyas School left us a message to say how brilliant the girls had been and that they are a credit to Richmond School. The level of maturity, professionalism and sense of independence shown by Eleanor and Lucy in putting together this workshop is incredible, I’m so proud of them for wanting to inspire other younger children with their passion and enthusiasm for Dance. Keep shining and influencing others with your respect and kindness girls!”
