Catherine was nominated by Miss Spittlehouse, her tutor, who said, “I would like to nominate Catherine Harrison in 11CSP. Throughout her school career with us, Catherine has been an exemplary student, going above and beyond in all our credit values. I am sure every one of Catherine’s teachers would affirm that Catherine is exceptionally clever, kind, respectful and incredibly hard working.
Since day one of Year 7 Catherine has exemplified each of our school values with aplomb and will no doubt go on to be supremely successful in her future endeavours. As Catherine’s tutor, I am immensely proud of the hard work she has put in and overcome her own challenges, showing great determination and independence, especially on the approach to her GCSEs.
Catherine is an exceptional academic and we are very lucky to include her in the 11CSP roll call, having topped the CREDIT leaderboard for the past 5 years thanks to her triumphant display of the credit values every week in all her lessons. Over the past five years we have had several new students come and join our tutor group and Catherine has always volunteered to show them around, sit with them at breaks and lunches until they find their “groove” and is always a faithful friend to all. Catherine is truly the epitome of our wonderful Richmond School values, highlighting the importance of embedding these values into our students to ensure they become the fantastic individuals they can be – just like our “super Catherine”.
