Evie was nominated by Mrs Mawer who said: “I would like to nominate Evie Carter in Year 11 for this week’s HTCVA for her all-round excellence and how she does everything in a quiet and modest manner. In History, her work is consistently of the highest standard and she really listens and reflects on advice given. Evie revised thoroughly for her Year 10 PPE exam and got an excellent grade, above her target. On the Battlefields trip, she really got involved in the activities and was very thoughtful about what we were seeing and learning about. It was lovely to see Evie engage with her peers and staff as she is naturally a quieter student. Evie is an example of a student who always gives her best and displayed the school’s values and definitely deserves to have her positive attitude recognised. Well done Evie!”
