YOGA FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 13 TO 18 OF ALL ABILITIES

In conjunction with the Big Lottery Fund and Nada Pulse, YES @ Areté Learning Trust are hosting six sessions of yoga for young people aged 13 to 18 of all abilities. These sessions will:
- provide young the key skills and understanding involved in yoga in a positive and inclusive environment.
- help students gain confidence with a range of simple yoga practices which are designed to increase strength, flexibility and coordination.
- teach valuable exercises that aid in relaxation emphasizing the importance of mindfulness for both physical and mental wellbeing.
Workshop size; max 12 students, early booking is recommended. The cost is £30 per student and the sessions run on Mondays from 31st October until 5th December, from 4:30-5:30pm at Richmond School. The closing date is 17th October 2022

The training will be led by Rebecca Lawrence (Nada Pulse). Rebecca is a certified British Wheel of Yoga teacher (Dip) with over 30 years experiences of yoga practice. Rebecca is passionate about making yoga accessible and inclusive so that as many people as possible can experience its physical and emotional benefits. She teaches a number of classes and workshops in both yoga and sound therapy and has extensive knowledge of both the philosophical and physiological principals of yoga.
