Congratulations to the fifty Year 9 students studying CTEC Sport who have started their journey as sports leaders. The students have been exploring the characteristics of good sports leadership in lesson time and then put this to the test by leading at a Key Stage 1 multi-skills festival. The leaders took charge of 315 primary pupils, aged between four and seven, from nine of our local primary schools and coached them in a range of running, jumping and throwing multi-skill activities. The leaders received a lot of positive feedback which will give them confidence as they continue in their role as sports leaders. They have many more events this year including tag rugby and hockey competitions.
