Outstanding performance by Year 7 netball team

The Year 7 netball team put in an outstanding performance to finish a close 2nd, behind Stokesley, our fellow Areté Trust School, at the Under 12 Area Netball tournament.
Richmond won their first three games of the tournament, beating Bedale (6-0), Northallerton (4-1) and Easingwold (4-1). Stokesley had also won all of their matches going into the final game. It was a competitive and evenly-matched game of netball that was great to watch and play in.
We narrowly lost to Stokesley 6-5 but our team were really proud of their overall performance. The team have been training hard and have played quite a few challenging games against Year 8s which has really helped them develop as a team and improve their netball.
Well done to Annabel, Grace, Mia, Isobel C, Milly, Ellen, Sophie, Jorge, Isobel W and Charlotte and congratulations to the Stokesley team.
