YEAR 6 STUDENTS ENJOY A TASTE OF LIFE AT RICHMOND SCHOOL

Our recent Year 6 Open Evening was a resounding success!

We welcomed over 350 families through our doors throughout the evening to take a look at what Richmond School has to offer. Our deputy head students, Elsa Wright and Andrew Lunn, plus Year 7 students Orla Noone and Alfie Bottomley, alongside Mrs Potter, Headteacher, welcomed students and parents in the hall, sharing their personal thoughts on what makes Richmond School so special.

Families were free to take a tour of the fantastic school facilities to find out what each subject area had to offer. Our brilliant team of student guides facilitated this process by helping out with information and directions. There was a chance to play games, complete science experiments, work out in the school gym and much more. Families also had the opportunity to talk to staff and students, as well as sample some food from our taster menu in the Restaurant.

We really enjoyed interacting with so many people from our wider community and seeing the excitement about ‘big school’ on the faces of so many Year 6 students – and their parents! Thank you to all for making the evening so positive and enjoyable.

We really value feedback from our school events as we look to make them even better year on year. With that in mind, we would really appreciate it if you would take a minute to fill in our very short (two questions!) survey at the link below:
