YEAR 5s LEARN ABOUT NUTRIENTS IN INTERACTIVE SCIENCE LESSON
A group of Year 5 students from Richmond Methodist Primary School visited for a primary Science transition event. Mr Randall, Science Teacher, led an interactive workshop with the students who listened attentively to his instructions before trying the experiments.
The students used different scientific tests to detect starch, sugars, proteins and fats in a range of different foods. All the tests involved adding reagents to the food sample which changed colour depending on what nutrients were present.
