YEAR 5 AND 6 PUPILS COMPETE IN CLOSE-FOUGHT NETBALL TOURNAMENT

22 October 2024  |  Sven Wardle  |  Posted in: , ,

Richmond School hosted a netball tournament for pupils in Year 5 and 6 recently.

The tournament was officiated by Sports Leaders from Year 9 and 10 who have been attending a weekly netball club to develop both their knowledge of netball rules and their ability to apply these when umpiring.

Many thanks to the following local primary schools for supporting this event:

Brompton on Swale, Bolton on Swale, Croft, Michael Syddall, Richmond Methodist and Richmond St Mary’s.

It was a highly competitive tournament with a good standard of netball being played.

Congratulations to all teams for participating. The top 3 teams were as follows;

1st: Richmond Methodist

2nd: Michael Syddall

3rd: Brompton on Swale
