Year 10 student leaders excel at athletics event

Richmond School hosted a year 1-6 Quadkids Athletics School Games competition on Monday 17th June 2019. Eight local Primary School’s attended the event, bringing nearly 300 pupils. The newly established Year 10 leadership team supported the event by independently managing each of the four athletic events, which were vortex howler throw, standing long jump, sprint and run.    Richmond School hosted a year 1-6 Quadkids Athletics School Games competition on Monday 17th June 2019. Eight local Primary School’s attended the event, bringing nearly 300 pupils. The newly established Year 10 leadership team supported the event by independently managing each of the four athletic events, which were vortex howler throw, standing long jump, sprint and run.  The leaders’ performance was exceptional with many Primary School Staff commenting on them. Richmond St Marys Primary School said that the Quadkids event ‘has been the highlight of their sporting calendar this year’ and she attributed this to the high quality leadership from the year 10 students.
