Welcome to our World – Month of the Military Child photography competition

Service students across North Yorkshire are invited to take part in an exciting photography project which aims to celebrate and raise awareness of Service Children during April, which is designated Month of the Military Child. The competition, which is being organised by Service Children’s Champion, is on the theme ‘Welcome to our World’. They are asking you to think about what it is like to be in a Military family and would like you to take and share photos with them.
The steps to enter the competition are on the three graphics – simply follow the instructions and ensure you send your entry to servicechildrenschampion@northyorks.gov.uk by 31st March.
Photographs will be chosen from across North Yorkshire to combine into a video montage which will be shared during April on social media. Judges will be asked to select five photos for special recognition and the Service Children’s Champion team will visit the winners to present them with a special award.
