Week 1 of March Miles and 6,221 miles already in the bag!

After just one week, our students and staff are really showing their mettle by covering a fantastic 6221 miles – we are certainly going to SMASH our original target of 8,000 miles and we love that! This total already ticks off three significant Great North Air Ambulance (GNAAS) milestones:
1,262 – Number of call outs in 2020
3,750 – Number of call outs GNAAS will do whilst the students are on their 6 weeks holiday.
4,907 – Number of collection boxes in the GNAAS region.
Jack Moore, PE teacher, said: “We really shouldn’t underestimate the Richmond School community! The distance covered in five days has blown us away and is testament to Team Richmond School and how our students and staff have really risen to the challenge.
