There were also seminars on Medicine, applying to Oxford and Cambridge, Natural Sciences, and Student Finance.    Students enjoyed seeing the universities all under one roof.  It will also help them to plan which open days to attend.   Jess Corbett, who is interested in Art courses, commented on how much she liked the interaction with people on the university stands.   Suban Gurung said: “I would like to do a degree in Zoology and I talked to university staff to learn more.”   Ciaran Nolan added: “I’m looking into Media Studies and it was a great chance to see so many course options.”   Ms Mannion, Careers Leader, commented: “Encounters with higher education providers are a key aspect of our careers strategy. The UCAS days are so valuable to our students to help with decision making.”   Thank you to NCOP Higher York, Richmond School Trustees, and the Careers and Enterprise Company. These partner organisations have sponsored the transport to UCAS events to enable so many students to benefit.
