Ukraine Shoebox appeal

22 March 2022  |  Jill Lundberg  |  Posted in:

We are very keen to continue to support the work of volunteers based at The Colburn Village Hall who are working tirelessly to help the Ukrainian refugee appeal. It would be fantastic if as many students and their families as possible could fill shoeboxes with items for children aged between 12 and 16 years old. If you don’t have any empty shoeboxes at home that you can use, then we do have a limited number available from student services.

The box cannot be too heavy so please include lighter items where possible. Ideas of what the shoebox can contain are:
• deodorant roll on
• shower gel/soap bar
• toothbrush and toothpaste
• sanitary products
• chocolate/wweets
• mindful colouring and coloured pens etc
• deck of cards
• personal message if you would like to include one

Shoebox lids should state what sex (male/female/non-binary) and age group the box is for and should be handed into main reception (parents/carers) or Student Services (students only) by the end of school on Friday 25th March 2022 at the very latest.

We apologise for the tight turnaround on this. With very best wishes and thank you in advance for any support you are able to offer
