TREAD THE BOARDS WITH THE GEORGIAN THEATRE ROYAL YOUTH THEATRE

29 September 2022  |  Jill Lundberg  |  Posted in: ,

Fancy doing something a bit different with your spare time? Look no further than the Georgian Theatre Royal Youth Theatre which offers a range of weekly sessions after school and on Saturdays for students up to 18 years old.

The sessions cover all areas of theatre and stagecraft, including acting, directing, devising and stage management. There is also a Musical Theatre class for those who particularly enjoy singing and dancing.

No performance experience is necessary and everyone is welcome whatever their abilities or confidence levels.

Sessions take place in the Theatre’s modern studio and are run by our professional Youth Theatre Officer, Ed Batchelor. There are plenty of opportunities to take part in a wide variety of productions at all sorts of venues. As well as treading the boards of the historic Georgian Theatre stage, previous years have seen a show go to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and performances have also taken place in Richmond Castle and Richmond Market Place.

The cost per half term is £40. For more information, call Ed Batchelor on 01748 823710 or email: youth@georgiantheatreroyal.co.uk or visit:Georgian Theatre Royal Youth Theatre
