Thought-provoking presentation about human rights and the work of Amnesty International

Special thanks to Dr Susan Miller who has shared her knowledge and expertise in Human Rights with Sixth Form students at Richmond and our partner colleges at Northallerton and Stokesley.

Dr Miller delivered a thought-provoking virtual presentation about what our Human Rights are, why they need protecting and what we as individuals can do to help those whose rights may be violated.  A pdf of Dr Miller’s presentation can be viewed HERE.

Ms Mannion, Lead Teacher for Careers, said: “Thank you to Dr Miller for taking the time to record this talk, and for making our students aware of the work that Amnesty International does. This year the talk has been made available to Sixth Form students across the Areté Learning Trust, so that even more students can benefit.

We look forward to welcoming Dr Miller back to college next year.
