Lexi was nominated by Miss Jackson who said: “Lexi turns up to every lesson with a smile and is ready to learn. She always follows excellent entry expectations and offers to hand the books out at the start of each lesson. Lexi’s book work is outstanding and her practical skills are excellent, I look forward to seeing what she creates in textiles during the next rotation. Lexi works brilliantly both independently and in a pair, often receiving CREDITs in a cooking practical for teamwork by helping other students to progress once she has finished. Lexi is definitely a model student and consistently demonstrates each of the schools’ values.”
Lexi also received a nomination from Miss Bainbridge, who said: “I would like to nominate Lexi Adams in Year 9. Lexi is not only a fantastic linguist, but she is a highly driven and determined student. She learns the vocabulary throughout every week and this showed in her most recent German speaking assessment, which was extremely impressive. She prepared carefully crafted answers and chose to memorise her detailed answers so that she could carry out the oral without notes. She demonstrates all of the values on a regular basis, particularly independence, determination and excellence. I could give her a credit quite easily in every lesson. She works well with others and is always happy to offer guidance and support to her peers. This is really valued in a mixed ability class. She is an example of a superb student who has a bright future ahead. Keep up the outstanding work.”
