THE HEADTEACHER’S CREDIT VALUES AWARD WAS PRESENTED TO HUGO HADLEY IN YEAR 10

Hugo was nominated by Mrs Addison who said: “I’d like to nominate Hugo Hadley for demonstrating amazing Determination and Independence. Since first meeting Hugo in Year 7 he has expressed his wish to become a Zoo Keeper. In order to achieve this Hugo has written to pretty much every zoo, wildlife farm and animal sanctuary in England in order to secure work experience, (including Twycross Zoo, Bristol Zoo, Edinburgh Zoo, Flamingo Land, Wetherriggs, Blackpool Zoo, Thorpe Perrow, South Lakes Safari Zoo and the Lake District Wildlife Park). I’m delighted to announce that Hugo has secured a place on the Animal Ranger week at Doncaster Wildlife Park in August. Needless to say, he is absolutely thrilled.

In addition Hugo showed incredible Determination and Excellence in his Music PPE GCSE Practical exam. Mr Boyd let me know that this is the first time students have to perform under the pressure of a microphone and a red light for recording and Hugo very calmly, picked up his drum sticks and played his piece perfectly at the first attempt which is the result of a huge amount of practice on Hugo’s part.

It should also be noted that year to date Hugo has achieved an incredible 330 Credits, no Consequence marks and has an amazing 99% attendance record.

Well done Hugo – you should be very, very proud of everything that you have achieved.”
