Connor was nominated by Miss Hillyard and Mrs Harrild who said: “We would like to nominate Connor Durkin for being a supportive and inspiring role model.
Connor recently worked with a Year 6 student to ease his transition to Richmond School.
Connor was really approachable and he was brilliant in his interaction, offering the student not just practical advice but also friendship and reassurance.
The difference Connor made was immediately visible; the student was beaming with happiness after the meeting as he shared his experience with his friends, proudly mentioning his ‘friend Connor’. His smile and enthusiasm spoke volumes about the positive influence Connor had on him.”
