THE HEADTEACHER’S CREDIT VALUES AWARD WAS PRESENTED TO ANNABEL GORMAN IN YEAR 13

Annabel was nominated by Mrs. Mawer, who said: “Annabel studies four A levels and does each one to the absolute highest standard. Her work is incredible and she shows such determination and excellence. For her work experience she organised time at a local hospital in preparation for applying for medicine at university and when I asked her about her summer holiday, she said that she had spent it studying for her aptitude test University Clinical Aptitude Test and she had done well in it. It is an incredibly difficult assessment and she really is an excellent role model for how hard work and dedication are such key attributes to success.

I have the pleasure of teaching Annabel for History A- Level, which she has absolutely excelled at – getting an A* in her Year 12 exams. Her unassuming and quiet nature means that it is easy to overlook her brilliance and so think she is a really worthy winner.”
