Take part in walk to school week

It’s walk to school week so we are encouraging as many students as possible to walk to and from school, not just this week but as often as they can. Not only does a brisk walk get us in the right mindset for the day ahead, but it’s also good for our health, helps us stay fit as well as reducing our carbon footprint. Walk to school week was founded in 1995 to encourage more children to walk or cycle to school and you can find out more about this fantastic initiative at https://www.livingstreets.org.uk/products-and-services/projects/walk-to-school-week
We would love to see as many students as possible walking to school. If you live too far from school to walk, then why not try and do a ten-minute walk when you get home each evening.
