Take part in elf on the shelf and support our local food bank

08 December 2021  |  Jill Lundberg  |  Posted in:

On Tuesday 14th December, Years 7, 8 and 9 students are invited take part in Elf on The Shelf and to bring an item of dry or tinned food for the school to donate to Store House, a local food bank in Richmond.

Over the past half term, a group of Year 9 students have been working on a community project in support of Store House. Caitlin, Jasmine, Harriet, Lily, Maddie, and Jennifer came up with the idea of Elf On The Shelf and they have created 15 elves that will be scattered around the areas the students have for break and lunch – in the library, restaurant and their allocated outdoor space. To take part, students in Year 7, 8 and 9 should bring in an item of dried or tinned food. On return, they will receive a sheet form their tutor to log their findings of the elves. Once the students have completed the form, they will need to hand them in at reception for a treat. Good luck in finding all 15 elves.
