Swale Scaffolding host careers visit

We are most grateful to the team at Swale Scaffolding for hosting a careers visit for three of our Year 11 students who are considering apprenticeships. Aaron Pepe, Contracts Manager and former student, explained about the opportunities available and gave the students a tour of the site. The visit was prompted following Aaron’s earlier presentation to the students at school when Thomas Richardson, Harley Sharp and Tyler Straub expressed interest in find out more about the company.

Ms Mannion, Careers Leader, who accompanied the students on the visit, said: “The students did very well. It is not easy looking around a business while social distancing with face coverings – they were a credit to Richmond School.

“Aaron Pepe asked the students to let him know if they would like to apply for an apprenticeship with Swale Scaffolding. He was very impressed at the punctuality, motivation, and positive attitude to learning that the students demonstrated.”

Swale Scaffolding work closely with the school on careers opportunities and we are delighted to keep in touch with Matty Davis, who joined the company as an apprentice last summer and is going from strength to strength in his role.
