Students to perform in the Station Master

02 November 2021  |  Jill Lundberg  |  Posted in: ,

The final rehearsals are underway for The Station Master, an exciting new production that tells the story of Richmond Station at war, and three of our students will be taking part. Alice, Freya, Daisy, Evie and Emily will be performing a contemporary ‘Remembrance’ dance in the show, on Friday 12th and 13th November. Written by John and Jane Hunter, and performed by the Charlotte Jacqueline School of Dance, the collaboration is set to deliver a fantastic evening’s entertainment, which also includes a meal at the Station’s Café.

Charlotte Porter, Dance School owner, said: “We are just putting the finishing touches to the show which has been written specially for the school by John and Jane. We have both adult students and children taking part, plus our Musical Theatre students will be playing the roles of evacuees and local children.

The audience will arrive at The Station and have their tickets checked and then be seated to enjoy a 1940’s wartime-inspired menu, whilst enjoying the show around them. We’re hoping to create a real “stepping back in time” atmosphere so we’re encouraging everyone to attend in 1940’s attire.

There are still a few tickets left, at £34.95 to include the show and the meal, but hurry, they won’t be there for long! To book call 01748 825967 or email reservations@thestation.co.uk
