Staying Safe in School

09 June 2020  |  Jill Lundberg  |  Posted in:

A great amount of work is going on behind the scenes to ensure school continues to be a safe place as a partial return for Years 10 and 12 students and staff begins.  We would like to reassure all parents and carers that the safety of students is our number one consideration when planning the reopening of the school.

We have introduced many new measures to ensure social distancing and reduce the risk to all parties, such as: installing a hand sanitiser station at each entrance; enhancing our cleaning regimes; measuring classrooms to ensure two metre social distancing; marking two metre spacings on corridors and pathways and clearly indicating the direction of travel; signs to remind students and staff to keep their distance and wash their hands; ensuring students have a learning space that will not be used by others before being cleaned. We are very much looking forward to seeing students from the above year groups back in school.
