We were thrilled to see Simon Farnaby, former student, playing the role of the disapproving footman in the Queen’s wonderfully heart-warming sketch with Paddington Bear, which was shown ahead of the Platinum Jubilee concert.
Simon is well acquainted with Paddington as he co-wrote the film Paddington 2 and also appeared as a security guard in both of the films. In addition, the comedian and writer is a long-standing member of the Horrible Histories troupe.
If you missed the hilarious sketch which shows the Queen and Paddington Bear meeting for a chaotic cream tea at Buckingham Palace then please follow this link to the BBC’s website.
