Save the Date: 28th April – Year 12 students to learn about Climate Change from Dr Jonathan Dean

22 April 2020  |  Jill Lundberg  |  Posted in: ,

Dr Jonathan Dean, from the University of Hull, has very kindly agreed to do an online lecture for Year 12 students on Climate Change. He will pre-record it and students will be able to watch it online on 28th April during Learning for Life. This is one of the ways that we are ensuring that we keep up with the enrichment programme for students.   Dr Dean has offered this, as he was due to attend in person on 28th April, however this is no longer possible.  Find out more about Dr Dean here

Ms Mannion said “Climate change is the biggest and most controversial environmental issue of our times, and it is an issue that is very important to our students and they had requested a talk on this topic. It is so kind of Dr Dean to offer this for our students, and it will also help to prepare them for higher education as they will experience a university lecture”.
