RICHMOND SCHOOL HOSTS CRICKET COMPETITION FOR LOCAL PRIMARY SCHOOLS

07 June 2024  |  Sven Wardle  |  Posted in: , ,

Richmond School Sports Partnership hosted a Year 5/6 cricket competition for the Richmond cluster of primary schools recently. The event was open to boys and girls in Years 5 and 6.

Many Thanks to Bolton, Brompton, Michael Syddall, Richmond Methodist, Richmond St Marys and Trinity Academy Richmond for supporting this event.

The games were officiated by Sports Leaders from Years 8 – 10 at Richmond School. They confidently communicated with the staff and pupils from the primary schools, fairly and consistently applied the rules and scored each match ensuring that a presentation could be held at the end of the day.

The top 2 teams from each competition then qualify for the area final which will be held on Monday 10th June.

Congratulations to Richmond Methodist School and Richmond St Marys who qualified for both the girls and the boys final.
