Ready for NCS? Sign up now!
Are you a Year 11 student looking for an unforgettable summer experience? Then look no further than the NCS programme which offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to do something meaningful with your summer break, as well as a chance to develop skills and take on new challenges that will set you up for adult life. You’ll also do something good for your local community, carrying out a social action project to support a cause you care about. We’ve seen first-hand what an amazing feeling of accomplishment and increased confidence this brings. Throughout the pandemic, teenagers on NCS donated well over 200,000 hours of their time to help rebuild their communities after the first lockdown, showing what a difference young people can make when they work together towards a goal.
Students can now register their interest for a place HERE.
Yorkshire Cricket Foundation are the local Delivery Partners for NCS and we are excited to be working with them again.
A place on NCS is worth around £1200. However, thanks to government funding for the programme, they only ask for a contribution of £50 to cover some basic costs.
This summer, the programme runs for two consecutive weeks on the following dates:
Week 1: Monday 1st August – Friday 5th August (Residential trip)
Week 2: Monday 8th August – Friday 12th August (Based in Richmond)
