Primary students have a great reaction to science activities

03 March 2022  |  Jill Lundberg  |  Posted in: ,

After a two-year break due to Covid restrictions, it was wonderful to welcome one of our first groups of primary students to our series of Science activities which will run for the rest of this academic year.

Twenty-four students from Ravensworth, Barton, Kirkby Fleetham and North and South Cowton Schools had a great time working on chemical reactions with Mr Randall. They carried out several test tube experiments, including displacement, exothermic and endothermic reactions.

Mr Randall said: “It was a joy to have the Year 6 students in our class and see them enjoying their experiments and working so hard. They were impeccably behaved and were a huge credit to their schools. I am really looking forward to the visits from other primary schools.”
