It was a joy to host a KS1 inclusive Panathlon event, with sixty-five pupils from Michael Syddall Primary School and Sacred Heart Primary School taking part in a range of fun games. They enjoyed parachute games, football, skittles, boccia, kurling and many more fun-based activities.
The pupils were split into teams of approximately 6-8 and moved around in a carousel so that they had the chance to score points for their team. The event was led by two students in Year 9, Kyla and Ruby as well as the Y12 CTEC Sport group.
The sports leaders were outstanding with one KS1 pupil exclaiming that they “had the best day of their life.” The ‘pink’ team from Michael Syddall were crowned the champions but it was a very close competition.
