PANATHLON 2025
30 January 2025 | Sven Wardle | Posted in: News, Primary Transition, Sport
Richmondshire Sports Partnership recently hosted the annual Panathlon challenge for pupils in Year 5 and 6 from our local primary schools.
Within this event the pupils are presented with a number of fun but challenging games in which they compete to earn points for their team.
The event was supported by young Sports Leaders from Year 10 at Richmond School. The leaders received training by Howard Nichol from Panathlon and then independently led games for groups of approximately 10 pupils, often having to adapt the game so all pupils were included.
Congratulations to all schools for competing and to our Sports Leaders for making the day such a success for the visiting schools.
