One year on…..celebrating our community champions

A year ago today, three kind-hearted and compassionate young men received British Citizen Youth Awards in recognition of their extraordinary contribution to charity. Students James and Andrew Lunn and Marcus Weston were honoured for their tremendous fundraising efforts for the Butterwick Hospice, having raised £4,800 from a cycling challenge. After receiving their medals, at a ceremony hosted by Rt. Hon. Lord Blunkett, the boys were treated to a tour of the House of Lords by Baroness Harris of Richmond. Baroness Harris said the boys were “great citizens of the world.”
