Here are some more great orienteering trails around Richmond which you can enjoy while building up your March Miles. Depending on the route you follow, when taking in the locations of 33 silver plaques which can be found in the town, then the trails are between 1.5 and 1.75 miles. You can download the trail here:  Plaque Tour Map & Trail Cards (3)

Thank you to Richmond Online for kindly allowing us to use their great map and to Mrs Southgate for putting the orienteering tasks together. If you would like to know how you scored in the challenge, then please email who will be happy to check your answers.

Please note the following when students are taking part in the challenge:
• Ensure parents/carers know the route students are taking
• Students always carry a phone in case of emergency
• Stick to the footpaths and leave all gates as you find them, keeping dogs on leads where requested
• Wear appropriate footwear and tread carefully as some sections of the routes may be quite muddy
• Students should take care when crossing roads and be very careful if there are any fields with livestock in
