Just weeks after taking the lead in the first round of the British Junior Rallycross Championship,  Luke has won the second round, which took place at Lydden Hill circuit in Kent on Easter Monday. In heat 1, Luke lead up to the last lap then had contact from another car which pushed him wide so he came in 2nd. He then came 3rd in heat 2 and 2nd in heat 3 meaning that in the all-important final Luke lined up in 2nd place on the front row, next to the pole sitter Latvian and European champion Roberts Vitols. Luke tried taking the lead on the first corner but had to back out of it. He then pushed the pace setter in the heats over the next couple of laps where they pulled away from the rest of the field. Sadly for Roberts, his car had a technical problem and Luke grabbed the lead with one lap to go. He took his second win in a row to take the championship lead by 6 points. Luke’s next rounds are on 22nd and 23rd June at Pembrey in South Wales  for a double header, rounds 3 and 4.
