We are looking forward to welcoming back Catherine Parums née Jack to school as the guest speaker at the Aiming High assemblies.  Catherine studied at Richmond School from 1998-2005.  She enjoyed taking part in both sporting and musical extra-curricular activities, but it was music that she chose to go on and study at the University of York. We are looking forward to welcoming back Catherine Parums née Jack to school as the guest speaker at the December Aiming High assembly.  Catherine studied at Richmond School from 1998-2005.  She enjoyed taking part in both sporting and musical extra-curricular activities, but it was music that she chose to go on and study at the University of York. Since leaving university, Catherine moved to London and pursued a career in Music Education, working in establishments including the Royal College of Music, BBC Proms and City of London Festival.  Leaving music behind as a hobby, she then spent five years working at Buckingham Palace for HRH The Princess Royal. Catherine is now Head of Commemorative Events for the Royal British Legion – her team is responsible for all Remembrance activity including the Festival of Remembrance and Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph in London.
