We are looking forward to welcoming back Catherine Parums née Jack to school as the guest speaker at the Aiming High assemblies. Catherine studied at Richmond School from 1998-2005. She enjoyed taking part in both sporting and musical extra-curricular activities, but it was music that she chose to go on and study at the University of York. She enjoyed taking part in both sporting and musical extra-curricular activities, but it was music that she chose to go on and study at the University of York. Since leaving university, Catherine moved to London and pursued a career in Music Education, working in establishments including the Royal College of Music, BBC Proms and City of London Festival. Leaving music behind as a hobby, she then spent five years working at Buckingham Palace for HRH The Princess Royal. Catherine is now Head of Commemorative Events for the Royal British Legion – her team is responsible for all Remembrance activity including the Festival of Remembrance and Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph in London.
