Logan Hankin, in Year 11, is developing his interest and skills in coding by studying independently with the Institute of Coding, Accenture, the University of Leeds and Lancaster University.  Logan completed a course in ‘creating a great user experience for mobile apps’ before the summer and has continued to study over the summer holidays and since returning to school.  He has done remarkably well and has now achieved eight qualifications. The courses have covered subjects such as: Computer programming for everyone, learning to code for the web, introduction to virtual, augmented and mixed reality and creating a great user experience for mobile apps to name a few.

Logan is planning to do further courses independently these include but limited to learning more coding languages including Python and C#.

Logan is hoping to go on to study maths, chemistry, physics and computer science at ‘A’ Level, with Richmond Sixth Form being his first choice.

Congratulations to Logan on showing such determination and commitment to his studies.
