Lest we forget

Thank you to Mrs Mawer, Lead teacher for History, for sharing a thought-provoking Remembrance assembly with our students throughout this week. The assembly focuses on poppies and different forms of remembrance and where they come from.  Mrs Mawer worked closely with Mrs Gleave, Services Children Advocate, and our services students who have contributed to the assembly, thinking about how they remember and why it is important to them.  The assembly can be viewed HERE.

Mrs Mawer said: “I wanted to show students and staff why we have the Remembrance traditions we do and why the poppy is especially important.”
