Kindness could be the key – resources for students

Kindness could be the key: Kindness is the theme of this week’s Mental Health Awareness week. Ms Richardson, Assistant Headteacher, has prepared some thought-provoking and supportive resources for our students. Ms Richardson said: “We encourage our students and their families to read through the presentation as looking after our mental health is even more important at this time as it is going to be central to us coping with and recovering from the coronavirus pandemic.

“Research shows that kindness is an antidote to isolation, creating a sense of belonging and is of benefit to all involved. Kindness strengthens relationships and we hope that students will think about ways they can show kindness in their families and communities. We also want our young people to reflect and explore the sort of society we would like to emerge following this turbulent time.”
