JOIN THE RICHMOND WILDLIFE WANDER ON SATURDAY, 26TH NOVEMBER

19 November 2022  |  Jill Lundberg  |  Posted in:

Residents of Richmond and the local area are invited to don their boots and shoes for a free local wildlife wander from The Station, Richmond on Satuday 26th November 2022.

Organised by the Richmond Group of the Richmondshire Climate Action Partnership, the wander is open to all. A choice of  two routes will be available, with wanderers able to start anytime from 9.30am to 3.00pm. Information and quiz questions will be provided to prompt wanderers to look more closely at the variety of life of their surroundings, and to consider how we can take better care of our environment. Some tips on capturing a great wildlife picture will also be provided, and the best comments and pictures will be shared afterwards here.

As the Partnership’s aim is to help tackle climate change locally, it is encouraging would-be wildlife  wanderers to walk or cycle to the start. There are bike racks for cycle parking near the ice cream parlour at The Station.

More information on the event will be posted here up to a week before the event.
