It’s National Poetry Day: follow in the footsteps of Lewis Carroll, our famous former student

01 October 2020  |  Jill Lundberg  |  Posted in: ,

It’s National Poetry day and what better way to mark this than sharing some poems from Lewis Carroll, our well-known alumnus.

His most popular and famous story is Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. This includes some wonderful poems, such as Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat, Jabberwocky, The Hunting of the Snark, The Walrus and the Carpenter and The Mouse’s Tale, to name a few.

Charles Dodgson began his studies at Richmond School in 1844, 21 years before he wrote Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland under the name of Lewis Carroll. You can find out more about him HERE
