HERALDING THE START TO CHRISTMAS – ENJOY VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR CAROL SERVICE

After an absence of three years, it was an absolute joy to return to St. Mary’s Church for our annual Carol Service. We are delighted to share video highlights of the service HERE so you can enjoy the exceptional performances by many of our musical and vocal ensembles.
Our sincerest thanks go to our students, staff and governors who either performed or did readings and to Rev. Martin Fletcher and everyone connected with St. Mary’s Church for hosting our service and their very warm welcome.
All the carols were accompanied by our mass ensemble of musicians who represented a number of our instrumental groups at Richmond School and Sixth Form College, including the String Ensemble, Jazz Band, Brass Quintet and Concert Band. All the performances were outstanding and there was a particularly atmospheric moment when the lights were dimmed during ‘O little town of Bethlehem’ and the Chamber Choir sang a verse accapella by candlelight.
Special thanks to Mr Boyd, Mr Dickinson and Mr Harbottle for leading the ensembles and giving our students yet another opportunity to perform and develop their musical talent.
